Latest Subscription to the Occupational Safety Charter

At the Launching Ceremony of the Occupational Safety Charter (OSC) on 23 September 1996, the Government reaffirmed its determination to improve work safety in Hong Kong. Representatives from the Government, major employer bodies, employee unions, and professional bodies have pledged their support to the Charter in the Signing Ceremony. A number of major companies have also subscribed to the OSC with assistance from the Labour Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Council. To date, 1231 organisations have subscribed to the OSC.
