Committee on Labour Relations

Terms of Reference

The committee is established to:

  1. advise on means to promote amicable relations and mutual understanding between employers and employees, and between their respective organisations;  
  2. advise on enlightened human resources management measures and family-friendly employment practices for the purpose of fostering harmonious labour-management relations;
  3. advise on legislative reviews or proposals in relation to employment conditions or labour relations; and 
  4. advise on measures to better the conciliation service provided by the Labour Department to employers and employees.
