Workplace Consultation Promotion Division
promotes Employment Ordinance and good human resource management practices, as well as encourages effective communication, consultation and voluntary negotiation between employers and employees.
Registry of Trade Unions
registers trade unions and organises educational courses for unionists.
Minor Employment Claims Adjudication Board
adjudicates employment claims each involving not more than 10 claimants for a sum of money not exceeding $15,000 per claimant.
Employment Benefits Support Division
formulates policies on abolishing the use of employers’ mandatory contributions under the Mandatory Provident Fund System to “offset” severance payment and long service payment and implements the Reimbursement of Maternity Leave Pay Scheme
